Plymouth Pride Event was set up in late 2005 in order to organise some form of LGBT Pride event in the city. They are a committee of LGBT people, organisations and partner organisations who are all working towards raising awareness of our communities.
In 2006 they held their first events and the city's first LGBT Festival in June. In 2007, they organised Plymouth's first ever LGBT Pride Festival. This was a wonderful success and proved to the city that Plymouth has a vibrant and active LGBT population.
Plymouth Pride Event 2008 will take place on June 7th with the festival in the Guildhall.
