The date for Cornwall Pride 2015 has been set and the date for your diary is Saturday 29th August 2015. It’s a bank holiday so if you are travelling to join in the celebrations why not make a weekend of it?

The Parade starts at Lemon Quay by Marks and Spencers gathering from about 9am with an 11am start for the parade. The route follows previous years: along Lemon Quay, through Back Quay, turning right into Lemon Street, left into Boscawan Street and proceed to Victoria Square. At Victoria Square turn right into River Street and go past the museum and will come to a stop at the junction of River Street and Edward Street.
Picnic in the Park
In Victoria Gardens, an afternoon for all the family, with face painting, various stalls and things to do whilst listening to an array of free entertainment. The park event is free and open to everyone who wants to come and look around the stalls, speak to the many different support organisations or simply relax and take in the atmosphere – there really is something for everyone.
Pride Party – An evening of entertainment
The Pride Party is a ticket only event which will be on Lemon Quay from 7pm. You will be able to purchase a ticket in advance or on the door on the evening at the same price. There will be a licensed bar and a dance-floor, providing the perfect way for meeting friends both old and new. Entertainment will be provided by a range of fantastic artists, so it’s the perfect way to unwind after a busy day!
